Oh thank you! I was so hoping I would get to see his test. Brett has discussed how his plan is always to ride for a clean test with no mistakes first, before asking for expression, so I wonder how much he might be holding back and riding moderately. His qualifying kur at the National Championships was really nice and Sam has such a sweet gentlemanly quality!

It's just my amateur spectator opinion, but I think Sam looks even better than he did at Nationals, possibly the time with Edward and Nicole has done him some good

I'm so glad the world got to see this combination, it's a horse with a great team around him. When Brett narrowly missed selection for Hong Kong, he and the owner arranged to lend Sam to rider Georgia Bruce for the Paralympics, who went on to win a bronze medal. Great experience for the horse, lovely generous thing to do for Georgia. Plus Brett himself used to be a rodeo bronc rider, so he's a bit of a character!
